Domicile Criteria & Bond Conditions
Candidates seeking admission in Government medical colleges under the 85% State Quota must satisfy local residency / domicile criteria specified by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) of Uttar Pradesh.
- Candidates must have completed their Class 10 and 12 schooling from verified institutions within Uttar Pradesh.
- Residency proof of parents (minimum 7-10 years duration depending on particular circular mandates).
- Service Bond: Mandatory rural service bond options are enforced upon completion of the MBBS course.
Seat Quotas & Reservation Matrix
MBBS seats across medical colleges in Uttar Pradesh are divided under the following allocations:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ): Open to all NEET qualified aspirants regardless of domicile, handled by MCC.
- 85% State Quota: Reserved for native domicile students of Uttar Pradesh.
